The Eurocopter Group is a European helicopter manufacturing and support company formed in 1992 from the merger of the helicopter divisions of German Daimler-Benz Aerospace AG (DASA) and French Aérospatiale.
As a consequence of the merger of the Eurocopter Group's former parents, the firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS.
As of 2007, more than 9,800 Eurocopter helicopters were in service with over 2,500 customers in 140 countries.

Robinson Helicopters for Sale
Helicopters designed and built by Frank Robinson have proved their worth in many spheres of activity. The original R22 was designed to be efficient, reliable and economical to operate and has been a firm favourite for many years. Since the delivery of the first R22 in October 1979 it has been adapted for use in agriculture, marine and police work scenarios together with training duties and traffic reporting.
During adaptations to differing roles the R22 underwent some changes. In 1983 the improved R22 Alpha appeared followed by the more powerful R22 Beta in 1985. By early 1996 the R22 Beta II was in the air. The concept behind the very successful R22 was carried through to the in the design of a larger helicopter and in 1992 the first of the R44 was available. The R44 had 4 seats and cruising at approximately. 210 km/h was faster than the R22.
